Brief History

Tri-Step Lodge No. 99 originally received its Warrant of Constitution on Annual Regular Communication of the Grand Lodge at City of Everett, Washington dated 11th July 1995 under the seal of then Most Worshipful Grand Master William C. Rheubottom, Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master James B. Sloan, Right Worshipful Grand Senior Warden Jesse P. Miller and Right Worshipful Grand Junior Warden James F. Troutt II.

The Grand Lodge appointed Worshipful Brother Horace L. Carter and authorized and empowered to act as the first Worshipful Master, and Worthy Brother William E. Daily, Worthy Brother Ricky H. Riley as the first Senior and Junior Wardens respectively to operate as subordinate lodge under the MWPHGL of Washington and Jurisdiction at the Province of Sheik Isa Air Force Base country of Bahrain.

For some reason and unrecorded history, the lodge cease until March 6, 2010 when Past Master R. Lewis petitioned at the office of District Deputy Grand Master, District 9, Most Worshipful Past Grand Master Andrew Morgan for dispensation to assemble as Tri-Step Lodge No. 99 and discharge the duties of Masonry in a regular and constitutional manner according to the ancient form of the Fraternity while waiting the arrival of new charter. Worshipful Brother Frederick Hurtt was appointed as the Worshipful Master, Worthy Brother Sean Hightower as Senior Warden and Worthy Brother Marcus Daniel as the Junior Warden.

At present, Tri-Step Lodge No. 99 holds  Reissued  Warrant of Constitution under the seal of seal of Most Worshipful Grand Master Gardner M. Torrence Sr. and Right Worshipful Grand Secretary James F. Trout II dated 26th March 2012, and continuously operating as a regular and constitutional subordinate lodge under District 15 of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Mason of Washington & Jurisdiction and as a recognized Public Organization at NSA Bahrain.
